Travel – A way to understand the world
When Brian got involved with travel in the early 1990s, he saw it as a positive industry allowing people to fulfill their dreams. Travel connects people around the world at many levels and Brian believes that interaction facilitates human understanding. Clients can return home with treasured memories and sometimes, life altering experiences. When Brian arranges corporate travel, he is gratified to know he is helping others do their jobs pleasantly and efficiently. The benefit of working with TierOne for Brian is that there is no restriction as to which suppliers agents are “permitted” to use, unlike what happens with other companies. This gives his clients greater choice. Brian has recently branched off into another segment of the retail industry, having bought a vitamin/herb store. This allows him to engage with the community at a different level where he still feels he is making a difference by providing better choices. He continues to do his travel work part time assisting long term clients with their plans. He usually makes one trip a year and is due to take his adult daughter to Britain to experience her ancestry.
